The course

RISE Ranch Challenge Challenge combines cowboy and ranch style obstacles and challenges over approximately 4 miles for a rootin' tootin' farm hand experience! Conquer Fresh Obstacles and Challenges in a Unique, Grass Roots Event!

 

All challenges are based upon real ranch tasks and many will benefit our local farm animal sanctuary! You will embark on your journey through a cross country style course used to train horses. Embrace your 'natural strength' as you complete the wheel barrel task, test your agility over the hay bail hurdles, and steady your hand on the lasso.

RISE Ranch Challenge builds community. As racers finish, we often see them cheering on those still racing. It is about everyone accomplishing their goal and helping others. Past events have had friendships formed literally on the race course and the camaraderie is contagious. This is much bigger than just a race, fitness challenge, or competition.

Some of our obstacles:

*Team only: create a hay pyramid and go over it

Worried? No need to be. Don't worry, on the skill tasks like the lasso or rope climb, you can do the alternative instead! These obstacles are challenging enough for the strong, Doable For All.

Rise Ranch Challenge is a Proud Sponsor of Harmony Farm Sanctuary.

Harmony Farm Sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates abused and abandoned farm animals, and bring the connection between humans and animals. They also have programs for at-risk youth.  

Harmony Farm Sanctuary holds a special place in the founder/race director's heart...not only volunteering there but raising approximately $6000 in the 2021 double fundraiser of the Rise Ranch Challenge and breaking 2 Guinness world burpee records (and over 6000 burpees, yikes that hurt!). A spring fundraising suffer fest has become tradition, beginning in 2020 with the grueling 48hr challenge called the Devil's Double.

2021 we were able to raise close to $2500 in the Rise Ranch Challenge. In 2022,  we would love to break $5,000. Help us help them! All the while challenging yourself, doing something good for yourself, and embarking on a fun adventure with friends!

Sign up as Individual OR TEAM

The RISE Ranch TEAM Challenge gets you a lower price point per person. It is for groups of people wanting to race the event together and work as a team. You will also get your own unique challenges!

         ​

• Teams get their own ranch-based challenges and must finish together.

• Teams can be 3-5 members. However, only co-ed teams are eligible for awards.

• All members of the team must go through and finish the race together.

Start as a team, race as a team, finish as a team.

Lil’ Buckaroos Challenge

​

For those 10 years and under. Approximately 1/2 mile course for our mini farm hands!

The Lil Buckaroos Challenge will start after the last heat is set off at approximately 11am (final time TBD 2 weeks out) 

​

$30 for individual lil buckaroo

$50 for a family of 2 lil buckaroos (with option to add on additional family members at $20 each)

*Includes medal and tshirt

*Must register by April 23rd to be guaranteed a tshirt
